Thanks for joining us for another My Bent Tree Help video. In this video, we’ll be walking through how to create a new account. If you’re not sure whether you have an account already, email webmaster@benttree.org and we’ll look it up for you.

Start by going to benttree.org/login. At the top of the page, you’ll see three tabs: Log in, Create an Account, and Reset Password. Click on “Create an Account."

First, choose your campus from the drop-down list. This should be the campus you most frequently attend. If you’re a part of our online community, choose “Friends & Internet Campus." Next, fill in the fields for your first name, last name, email address, and mobile phone. These are all used to verify that duplicate accounts are not created. And finally, fill in your date of birth. This is an optional field, but is another check to help us make sure your account doesn’t get confused with someone else’s (who has a similar name, for instance). 

Once all the fields are filled in, click the green submit button. You’ll receive a confirmation email at the address you provided with your username and a temporary password. Use those credentials to log in and make sure to update your password on the User Profile page. If you have any questions on how to do that, make sure to check out our help video on passwords.
